Hi. I’m Rachel Zubrzycki. I am a certified bodywork therapist trained in both Swedish and integrative massage, as well as several forms of shiatsu. I graduated from CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu Therapy School & Clinic in August of 2006.

Prior to studying bodywork I studied Anthropology, Theater Arts, and Pre-Nursing at the University of Kansas, and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology in 2000. After a total of six years in Kansas and another year on the road working the Renaissance Festival circuit, I settled back in Roseville, MN just a mile from my childhood home in Falcon Heights. I have never felt so at home as I have since I moved back to Minnesota. Working at Lauderdale Wellness Center serving people in the area where I grew up is a real joy for me.

My favorite area of study in my program at CenterPoint was Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am fascinated by the concepts of Yin and Yang, meridians, and Qi, and love the idea of health care practitioners helping to restore balance to the body, mind, and soul rather than fixing something that is broken. I am so pleased to be working in an environment that supports and encourages my beliefs and values.

I look forward to sharing my knowledge and skills in both Eastern and Western bodywork with you who come through the door of Lauderdale Wellness Center. I am also very excited to be working with such a diverse group of caring and ethical professionals who share my vision of a holistic approach to health care.
