Before entering the healing world of therapeutic massage I worked in the corporate world for 30 years. While working, I also attended other higher learning institutions before realizing my heart was really with the healing profession in some way. Empathy and touch are strong points of need for me, so my final career path started with professional training for massage therapy in 2003 at CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu Therapy School & Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. During my training, I discovered I had breast cancer and, with a bright outlook, I took a year off for surgery and healing. I recovered my health, am in remission, and now have a stronger love of life and health and awareness of happiness. I also have a great empathy for pain.

I graduated with over 700 hours of classroom and techniques training. I’ve had a great clinical experience working with the Minnesota Gopher Football Team, and gained a lot of sports massage knowledge. I strive to improve my techniques every day. I have had experience with chiropractic patients, geriatric, children, pregnancy clients, and a special cerebral palsy patient. I listen to what people tell me they need, and inquire as I go through the session, making the time as valuable to the client as well as for myself.

People need people, and the gift of touch is a wonderful form of therapy for relaxation and /or healing, or balancing the soul. My philosophy is to improve the lives of my clients by helping them balance life issues with their bodies and souls, and to promote and maintain health.
