Andrea Wollenberg

Welcome! I’m Andrea Wollenberg.

I am a summa cum laude graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University’s Massage Therapy Program. I’m also a graduate of St. Olaf College and have a master’s degree from the University of Virginia. I am a nationally certified Massage Therapist and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

My use of Western-style Swedish massage and trigger point therapy techniques can help the soft tissue in the body work more efficiently and effectively. I especially encourage clients suffering from everyday aches and pains that “won’t go away” or that they “just live with” to view massage as not only key to relieving those issues, but also as key to preventative care. We take our bodies through many stressful situations every day, and massage can help reverse the process of debilitation that overuse and overload can cause. In addition to relieving the effects of stress, massage can be a very worthwhile, natural health-care option to address symptoms of back pain, headaches, leg and hip pain, jaw pain, carpal tunnel, and more. It is a wonderful complement to any treatment plan that may include Western medicine, chiropractic, and alternative medicine.

Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent many years as a performer and teacher. I am also an active yoga practitioner. Please feel free to reach me by calling Lauderdale Wellness Center at (651) 917-9800. I look forward to your visit!
